Had my throttle cable stick a few times last weekend. Can it be diassembled at the splitter? I really don't want to buy a new one and have to re-sync the carbs.

you could always take vasalene and put it on the ends.......are you sure it is water and not fraying in there some where?

I'm not positive its NOT fraying, but WD40 really helped the situation. Also, we got 18" the day it started acting up and I was riding in deep powder all day. Either its a coincidence or its the water issue. dunno.gif

try unhooking it from everything and pull on each cable to see if you can feel it stick... it could still be fraying it just made it move easier when you shot the WD in it for a little while
