I used to use Bergstroms years ago. Now I use Woody's. Just trying to see which one is more popular. Thanks.

Changing to Woody's from Shapers because they are cheaper. If the are the same length carbide can you really tell the difference?

Woody's dooleys (sp) - 6 inch.

Long ones. 8 or 10 inch. Probably cheap because they all wear out so fast. I think they are woodys. I need new ones especially after riding with no damn snow.

GREAT TOPIC! I was going to start the same one lol. I need carbides and what should I get? The sled has the stock ones and IDK what they are lol. Should I get woody's 4's or woodys 6? And 90* or 45*?? I think the * is carbides and not studs lol! Thanks guys this place rocks!

They are simular to shapers but last longer and don't bend. 60* carbides and they last 2-3 years.

I run the Shapers now, Before that, I used Roetins. I don't like Woody's because of their "flat top" design. It reduces the depth that the wear bar cuts into hardpack, giving you less turning force in those conditions.

Ran em last year for the first time and they are the best carbide I've ever used. I had 8" studboy shapers (they suck) carbides broke in 1 ride. Used woodys for a number of years and they were pretty good. USI carbides were very hard and durable as well. I have USI PX 301 skis and with the bergstroms it hooks like mad but with reasonable steering effort and NO darting
